Ensure all permits are valid, updated, and aligned with project schedules.
Liaise with local authorities such as RTA, Dubai Police, Municipality, and other relevant agencies to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs for road and bridge maintenance works.
Communicate changes, requirements, and updates related to diversion plans to all concerned parties.
Prepare, review, and implement Traffic Diversion Plans (TDPs) and Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) schemes for routine and emergency maintenance works.
Monitor onsite traffic management setups to ensure compliance with approved plans and safety standards.
Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate traffic control measures and signage required.
Coordinate lane closures, detours, and site access arrangements to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
Handle submissions through relevant authority portals and follow up until approval is obtained.
Update logs related to authority approvals, validity dates, and compliance status.
Work closely with maintenance teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to schedule works in line with approved traffic management plans.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on traffic diversion arrangements and permit status.
Conduct routine inspections to verify that traffic cones, barriers, signboards, and lighting are correctly installed.
Maintain accurate records of approvals, TDPs, and traffic management documents.
Support emergency response situations where sudden traffic diversions or road closures are needed.
Assist in resolving traffic-related issues during maintenance operations.

Strong follow-up skills with authorities.
Strong knowledge of local traffic regulations, safety standards, and authority approval processes.
Ability to prepare and interpret traffic diversion drawings.
3–5 years of experience in traffic coordination, traffic management, or infrastructure/road maintenance.
Strong understanding of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) procedures.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Experience working with RTA road and bridge maintenance projects is an added advantage.
Valid UAE driving license.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Management, or related field.
