Description

• Producing formal quotations to clients
• Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
• Estimating for projects ranging in value up to circa £1m
• Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements

Requirements

Estimator – Roofing Systems

• Estimator position dealing with a range of roofing services across industrial, commercial and residential sectors such as: flat roofing, pithed roofing, metal & zinc roofing, lead roofing, green roofs and roof repairs
• Strong numerical skills
• Confident and articulate individual
• Must have estimating experience within the roofing market sector
• Experienced in any of the following: flat roofing, pithed roofing, metal & zinc roofing, lead roofing, green roofs and roof repairs
• Sound understanding of roofing and building legislation
• IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly savvy in Excel)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000

Schedule: 08:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday (some flexibility & hybrid work available)
