- Candidate will have an Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or credential such as CPD (Certified in plumbing design).
- The experience should be with all of the systems associated with Plumbing design including Sanitary, Storm, Domestic Water, Natural Gas.
- Focused experience with industrial projects, state agency projects, and/or local municipal projects is a plus.
- Good planning, organizational and communications skills are necessary for success in this position.
- Successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 year's relevant experience designing wide variety of facilities for industrial, educational, institutional and governmental projects.
- MA PE is preferred but not required.
- Fire Protection Wet/Dry/Pre-action Sprinkler systems and Fire Standpipe systems would be a plus.
- The ideal candidate will have skills with AutoCAD, REVIT, Hydraulic Calculations, specification writing, familiarity with applicable building codes, cost estimating and other mechanical engineering tasks.
- LEED AP, CPD, or PE certifications are preferred but not required.
- A candidate with strong REVIT skills is preferred.
