Fulfillment Center Associate (3-6 month assignment)

Description

• Prepare documents, such as bills of lading, shipping procedures, routes, and rates
• Examine contents and compare with records, invoices, and/or orders to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments
• Assemble, package, address and ship merchandise and material as well as unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise and material using D365 RF scanners and BOL’s, Packing Slips, and PO’s
• Maintain and adhere to all safety standards for the Westfield facility in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Deliver or route materials to different departments, load and unload trucks using MHE (Material Handling Equipment)
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, any damages and/or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes
• Store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock for accuracy and neatness
• Confirm inventory by performing cycle counts and year-end physical inventory and implement measured and data driven improvement plans
• Determine shipping methods for materials using D365 WMS for Partner specific instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Safety oriented mindset
• Ability to lift 50 – 70 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years relevant experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate a fork lift and other shipping machinery
• Experience working with computers, specifically ERP software, including FedEx and UPS systems
