Description

The Purchasing Agent I executes day‑to‑day procurement activities under direct supervision, handling purchase orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate records to keep material and service flow smooth. The role focuses on operational tasks to support the company’s operations.

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships for timely, quality deliveries.
• Create and process purchase orders accurately, obtaining necessary approvals.
• Review supplier orders to determine purchasing needs and avoid stock shortages or excess.
• Assist in price negotiations to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate purchase, supplier, and transaction records in the procurement system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of purchasing or related administrative experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and basic procurement software.

• Ability to perform routine procurement tasks reliably.

Compensation for this US‑only position ranges from $61,400 to $71,100 per year and includes eligibility for bonus pay. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package with paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
