Marketing / Business Development Assistant

Assist in marketing and business development efforts for a construction company, including creating proposals, maintaining CRM system, and researching potential clients.
Build rapport and positive relationships both internally and externally.
Maintain project directory of all previous and current projects containing information generally requested per solicitation requirements with the goal of Cosential being the ultimate repository for information.
Maintain daily quality control on lead sources ensuring the right opportunities are coordinated with the Business Unit Leadership.
Generate reports, dashboards and analytics to track key performance indicators.
Ensure timely response to meet solicitation deadlines.
Assist with and attend events inclusive of groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, community outreach, etc. as necessary.

Print, bind, and distribute brochures, SOQ’s, bid proposals and other materials requested by Business Development, Estimating and other departments.
Research and identify potential clients and partners within the construction industry.
Participate in proposal preparation process ensuring a top quality, competitive and winning response to RFP’s and related documents.
Import and export data as needed.
Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to attract new clients and build relationships with existing clients.
Work with teams to apply lessons learned and improve quality of proposals.
Participate in weekly marketing and business development meetings.
Assist with research and content development for website, newsletter and social media channels.
Assist with PowerPoint presentations for Interviews, internal training meetings, etc.
Attend pre-submittal meetings (when necessary).
Assist in development and application of overall strategy compliant with solicitation requirements that is consistent with Corporate objectives/policies/vision
Collaborate with Corporate to establish Cosential Best Practices to ensure consistency in application usage and data gathering.
Maintain the CRM which includes data entry for the Idaho Falls Office. This includes data such as potential opportunities, information on potential clients, events, and status updates,
Participate in proposal review with project team ensuring content completeness, compliance with solicitation requirements, and accuracy of information.
Assist with and maintain photography library including project and personnel photos.
Create, edit, and maintain project sheets, personnel resumes, and boilerplate narratives and content.
Stay up to date with RFP deliverables and interviews to maintain consistent debriefs with customers and data input into CRM.
Coordinate with the project team to generate project feature sheets and final photography of completed projects.
Prepare agendas and maintain meeting minutes for marketing and business development meetings.
Regularly review information to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Monitor and download RFQ/RFP releases through various procurement sites.
Support proposal effort by working with the project team to develop project-specific write-ups per solicitation requirements.
Coordinate deliverables in accordance with solicitation requirements i.e. reference forms, bid bonds, surety letters, etc.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, proposals, and presentations that effectively communicate our company's value proposition to potential clients.
Assist in preparing for events such as scheduling and gathering promotional materials.
Research the customer to understand their environment, politics, limitations, hot points and other factors that will translate to a winning response.
