Systems Engineer

Description

• Support cross-functional team development with both external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teams.
• Investigate Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environment, including integration investigations of interfaces for Collins Aerospace equipment and government-furnished equipment.
• Perform design requirements validation and verification tasks for MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics.
• Utilize various engineering tools including TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft SVN, and others.
• Execute requirements-based testing, robustness, and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Electrical engineering expertise.
• Relevant Systems Engineering Job Experience.
• Familiarity with TNT, DOORS, PREP, JIRA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with supporting data busses and protocols such as Ethernet or MIL-STD.
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Understanding of data busses and protocols like Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and ARINC-429.
• Proficiency in systems engineering.
• Military avionics experience.
