The Project Manager 3 supports Enterprise Electrical’s operations by leading commercial electrical projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. The manager acts as the primary liaison among clients, internal teams, and trade partners, providing leadership and accountability across all phases.
- Lead projects as the primary project manager in partnership with internal teams.
- Evaluate contract scope and set project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Plan, organize, and staff key project positions with superintendents and project staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Negotiate, prepare, and issue purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Oversee on‑site supervision to monitor and control construction progress.
- Create and maintain master schedules to keep projects on time and within budget.
- Manage financial aspects including cost control, billing, collections, profitability, and cash flow.
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure all project documentation complies with contract requirements and company standards.
- Supervise and mentor project managers and assistant project managers as assigned.
- Manage projects valued between $500,000 and $3,000,000.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships while meeting project objectives.
- Lead teams with demonstrated motivation and performance‑maximizing abilities.
- Meet all job‑site access requirements with no restrictions.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and accuracy.
- Solve complex problems and implement effective solutions.
- Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, field leadership, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage conflict proactively to preserve positive working relationships.
- Interpret construction documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Apply strong financial acumen to track budgets, forecasts, and project performance.
- Mentor and develop team members through guidance, feedback, and accountability.

- Use computers, project management software, scheduling tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard office equipment.

The position is office‑based with regular presence on active construction sites, requiring the ability to walk job sites, climb stairs, and navigate commercial environments, with occasional extended hours as project demands dictate.
Preferred qualifications include a Journeyman’s License and familiarity with Accubid estimating software.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant experience in construction, finance, or project management.
- Possess 3–5 years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of construction design, finance, scheduling, and project management practices.
- Understand construction design, project finance, and management principles.
- Know corporate and industry standards, practices, and processes.
- Exhibit strong project planning skills for scope, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Obtain OSHA 30 certification within six months of hire (or already hold it).
- Preferred: Journeyman’s License and working knowledge of Accubid estimating software.
- Work office‑based with regular site presence, requiring physical ability to navigate construction environments.
