Receive field data collected, analyze local and wide area network systems, and develop the most cost-efficient fiber/copper network route design in accordance with customer specifications and guidelines
Assist with as-built package completion and delivery, as well as billing closeout
Follow up with our customer and provide a status of any and all assigned work
Collaborate with any necessary vendor, as well as internal GIS and CAD teams, to produce all required documentation for application packages
Coordinate with the project team for forecasting, scheduling, resource management, and quality assurance
Work in tandem with various managers across the project to identify scope creep, manage change orders, and complete routine billing
Ensures the integrity of the customer access network is maintained and provides support for the deployment of access technologies
Review project deliverables for accuracy and apprise the project management team of risks, issues, and recommended mitigations

Knowledge of fiber optic and copper counts, fiber assignments, and splicing schematics in all OSP environments
Read and understand road prints, utility maps, and as-builts to identify conflicts with existing facilities
Knowledge of engineering tools, including Microstation, AutoCAD, ARAMIS, OCalc, 3-GIS, or any similar GIS/KMZ platforms
Possess strong communication and people skills
Sound OSP engineering experience deploying fiber optic and Copper networks - Knowledge of engineering principles within the OSP job-related functional area, including general practices, procedures, and industry standards
Proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Google Sheets, and Google Drive
Strong language skills are required, both oral and written
Proven ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels: from team members to executive management
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field is preferred, or Telecom, Engineering, or Drafting completed courses, and a diploma from a technical school or community college
