Lead the development and coordination of electrical design models and documentation for small to largescale projects within the Energy and Resources Sector.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress meetings to provide input on design deliverables and resource requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to designers and technologists, ensuring design consistency, accuracy, and quality across all deliverables.
Perform and review electrical calculations for system components using companystandard and manufacturerspecific software.
Actively participates in the development of design and junior engineering staff through work on projects as well as serving as a trainer, mentor and resource for junior design staff.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other discipline leads to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with civil, mechanical, and structural components.
Support business development efforts through technical input on proposals and estimates.
Identify design risks, technical issues, and constructability challenges early in the design process and implement corrective actions as needed.
Manage the preparation and quality control of electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation packages.
Develop and review electrical design concepts, layouts, and system configurations using 2D and 3D modeling software.

Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and/or Inventor; experience with Aveva, MicroStation, and Bluebeam is an asset.
Typical office environment, working with computers and drawings for extended periods of time on a regular basis. Field work may include exposure to hazards including construction, weather, and industrial operations that may be experienced at infrastructure facilities.
Willing and able to travel. Occasional travel may be required.
REVIT and AutoCAD education and experience are required; certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 12 years of experience focused upon delivery of electrical design packages.
Indepth knowledge of electrical codes and standards including IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, and NEC.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant engineering software tools.
Proficiency in performing and reviewing electrical system calculations and layouts, including medium and lowvoltage systems (switchgear, MCCs, substations, etc.).
Experience with lighting design software such as Visual or similar tools is an asset.
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Proven experience leading and coordinating electrical design teams on multidiscipline projects.
Experience developing and reviewing: Singleline diagrams, grounding plans, and schematic drawings.
Demonstrated ability to identify technical challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead meetings, coordinate across disciplines, and interact directly with clients and project stakeholders.
