Serve as the primary relationship manager for select proprietary investor accounts which includes, but is not limited to, intimately understanding their investment needs, pricing parameters and preferred investment criteria and underwriting standards, managing standing pipeline calls, facilitating deal and fund closings, arranging client entertainment and closing events, and ensuring that the client receives an exceptional level of service at all times.
Own the development of comprehensive investment marketing materials including presentations, project/fund summaries, financial projections, and benefit schedules to highlight investment attributes to investors.
Work with internal constituents to structure and close upper tier low-income housing tax credit partnerships for national and regional multi-investor funds and proprietary funds.
Communicate frequently with Investors to understand changing investment needs and deal pricing requirements.
Work in conjunction with the Production Team to analyze investor outlets and select assets for LIHTC funds that optimize investor capital, deal originations and client needs.
Assist with the multi-investor fund process to include aggregation of product, preparing timelines and fund marketing materials, working with counsel to draft upper tier legal documents, presenting the fund materials and key characteristics to the internal investment committee, and managing the ongoing investor due diligence and closing process.
Represent the company at industry conferences and community events.
Support the VP of Investor Relations, with the management of existing investor relationships and identification of prospective investors. This may include contacting potential investors, scheduling and attending meetings, presenting investment opportunities, and maintaining ongoing communication to cultivate strong relationships.
Innovate and apply efficiencies in the application of data and technology to support business opportunities.
Coordinate with Fund Management post-closing concerning ongoing investor reporting requirements.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as developers, investors, lenders, state and local housing agencies, consultants, and industry associations.
Coordinate with Originations and the Credit & Underwriting team throughout the closing process to identify and mitigate transaction risks.
Serve as the lead on scheduling and arranging annual investor due diligence and portfolio reviews, preparing slide decks, coordinating with, and prepping team members, and facilitating the meeting.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in the LIHTC industry, with a proven track record of success in business development, syndication, origination, underwriting, closing, investor relations, fund management, and dispositions.
Extensive knowledge of the LIHTC program, tax credit regulations, affordable housing finance, real estate development, and market trends.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field. Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
