Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to work permits and permanent residency.
Conduct exit interviews.
Liaise with Project Managers, the Staffing team, and employees to ensure timely submission and tracking of immigration documents.
Support employee mobility and immigration processes, including documentation for work permits and visas, in coordination with legal and external partners.
Partner with hiring leads throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
Support the maintenance of our HRIS and HR tools for data integrity, quality, and security.
Proactively keep up to date on issues affecting mobility.
Manage full-cycle recruitment across functional teams, including stakeholder management, job requirements gathering, job posting, sourcing, phone screening, reference checks, and offer preparation.
Support the preparation of reports to provide leaders with insights for decision making.
Support leaders by providing coaching and guidance on employee relations concerns.
Collaborate to draft and finalize offer letters.
Update employee support materials as needed.
Support the documentation of our systems and related processes with regular updates, throughout the lifecycle of the system.
Oversee employee status changes including resignations and prepare all related HR correspondence.

Initiative, resourcefulness, strong business acumen and a curiosity to learn.
Knowledge of Canadian employment regulations including Employment Standards Act.
Experience with ATS/HRIS platforms (BambooHR preferred).
Knowledge of immigration fundamentals and mobility processes is considered an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience with HR coordination, recruitment, and employee relations functions.
Aptitude for people data analytics and reporting, from data entry and requirement gathering to building reports.

Post-secondary education (diploma or degree); HR or business administration programs are preferred.
