- Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to balance compliance with practical, customer-focused outcomes.
- Te Reo Māori language classes

- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire a team.
- A tertiary qualification in Resource/Environmental/Urban Planning (or related field) and extensive experience in planning/resource management.
- Skilled at navigating complex regulatory issues and comfortable engaging in judicial or quasi-judicial processes.
