Manager - Accounts Payable

Description

The Accounts Payable Manager drives automation in AP processes, ensures accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, and strengthens financial controls. The role reports to the Finance Director, works the second shift (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM) from the office, and includes daily pick‑up and drop‑off cab facilities.

• Lead automation of invoice, payment, query resolution and statement reconciliation processes.
• Monitor and report key AP metrics such as paid‑on‑time performance and aging analysis.
• Ensure SOX compliance and strengthen financial control mechanisms.
• Collaborate with procurement, IT, treasury, inventory, and accounting teams on P2P automation projects.
• Support internal and external audits by providing PBC schedules and documentation.
• Manage escalations and ad‑hoc requests as a proactive team player.
• Track and resolve tickets via JIRA dashboards and the AP Helpdesk.
• Participate in UAT for new system projects and enhancements.

Requirements

• Hold a B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), CWA, CA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Procure‑to‑Pay, Accounts Payable and Master Data Management.
• Expertise in AP process automation and ERP systems (Oracle Fusion or similar).
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions) and presentation tools.
• Strong attention to detail, continuous‑improvement mindset, and ownership of deliverables.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
