Preconstruction Manager (Concrete)

Description

• Collaborate with the broader preconstruction and estimating team
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Participate in proposal presentations and project handoffs
• Review drawings, specifications, and attend pre-bid meetings to define project scope
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
• Support pricing for change orders and extra work items
• Develop and submit formal proposals and bids
• Issue preconstruction RFIs and maintain estimate documentation

Requirements

• Ability to produce accurate estimates independently
• Previous preconstruction or estimating experience preferred
• Team-focused approach and willingness to go the extra mile
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to visualize concrete construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
