The Production Welder Supervisor works in the Production team, independently setting up fixtures and processes, and leading a small weld shop department. The role focuses on welding electrical enclosures—doors and panels—performing MIG welding of 14‑ga CRS, stud welding, cosmetic post‑weld grinding, and material handling, while also supporting other welding needs as required.
- Lead a small weld shop department with hands‑on supervision
- Perform TIG welding of stainless‑steel components
- Execute cosmetic grinding of sheet‑metal panels
- Conduct MIG welding of mild‑steel sheet‑metal, including 14‑ga CRS and stud welding
- Follow written and verbal instructions and ensure quality of own and team’s work
- Handle electrical panel frames and door weldments weighing over 65 lb
- Operate band saws, circular saws, grinders, and other fabrication equipment
- Manage material handling of raw goods and finished weldments
- Stand for 8+ hours per day
