Collaborate with product design, manufacturing, and quality teams to understand tooling requirements and constraints.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing appropriate tooling solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance personnel on tooling usage and maintenance.
Create detailed tooling drawings and specifications using CAD software.
Design, develop, and validate tooling, fixtures, jigs, and gauges to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
Manage tooling documentation, including design records, maintenance schedules, and inspection reports.
Ensure tooling complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for tooling projects.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for tooling procurement and maintenance services.
Oversee tooling fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling principles.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering drawings.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of materials, machining, and fabrication techniques.
Experience with tooling design for injection molding, thermoforming, machining, or assembly processes would be advantageous.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks and CATIA preferred) for tooling design
1+ years as a Tooling Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
