The Engineer – Emissions Compliance Reporting is responsible for developing and executing emission and combustion tests, supporting measurement technology projects, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role acts as a liaison between local teams and the corporate headquarters in Friedrichshafen, Germany, to deliver project results.
Key duties include planning and evaluating measurement technology and after‑treatment system development, assisting with noise and vibration measurements, and providing regular project and resource management reports to senior management. The engineer also maintains a safe work environment, promotes a compliance culture, and may lead special projects as needed.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering and have at least five years (or nine years alternatively) of experience in emission measurement technology and internal combustion engine testing. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of emission and after‑treatment principles, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with PC and MS Office, and willingness to travel internationally.
The position is based in Graniteville, SC, with a salary range of $70,629‑$114,772 plus a discretionary bonus.
