- Represent Mott MacDonald at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams in the pursuit, bidding, design and delivery of highway projects
- Controlling project resources and monitoring against budget
- Overseeing project delivery from concept through to construction, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance
- Leading a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery to client requirements, programme and budget
- Managing the planning, design and implementation of highways projects
- Monitoring market trends and contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, local authorities, and industry partners

- Experience within the role of Expert Witness at an Oral Hearing (ABP) or similar
- Experience of engineering design calculations
- Demonstrate a strong track record in business development with the ability to identify and exploit growth opportunities
- Be prepared to work away from home when required
- Chartered (or Incorporated) Engineer
- Knowledge of highway design principles
- Understanding of design standards including: Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) Standards, Design Manual for Urban Roads and Streets (DMURS), National Cycle Manual, Traffic Management Guidelines and Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) Standards
- Experience and/or familiarity of working with Irish clients
- Knowledge of the use of BIM to coordinate design inputs
- Experience in detailed design for construction delivery
- Demonstrable record of successfully managing project teams and of planning and controlling project programmes, budgets and resources
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or extensive equivalent experience
