Manage and optimise construction schedules, resources and contracts for a major highway project
Strategic Planning Oversight and Mentorship: Aims to provide strategic planning oversight by leveraging advanced expertise in developing and implementing intricate scheduling techniques.
Data Analysis: Aid the planning team to produce project data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify deviations, and make data-driven decisions for project improvement
Contract Management: Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance, and resolving contract-related issues.
Tender: Utilise advanced expertise to collaboratively develop and decisively agree on a strategic and optimized sequence and methodology.
Schedule Change Management: Implementing controlled Changes to Schedules through the relevant Change Control Process.
Contract: At the contract stage, the Planner is responsible for producing, managing, and maintaining the Contract Programme in accordance with planning procedures under the guidance of the Planning/Project Lead.

Knowledge of Change Management in project programmes: EWNs, CEs, etc.
Resource Management: Skilled in managing labour, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project objectives while minimising costs and delays.
Knowledge of Schedule Quality Management in project programmes.
Knowledge in project scheduling, including the ability to create, manage, and optimise project schedules using industry-standard tools.
Understanding of project management methodologies.
Experience in construction or other sectors with transferable skills that align with the demands of the construction field.
Analytical and problem solving
Understanding of various forms of tender and contract documents, and specifications.
Previous experience in managing relationships with project stakeholders, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience in successfully planning and managing projects from initiation to completion using planning software like P6/Asta.
Good understanding and management of data and processes
Competent in project management tools and software like Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6 or ASTA.
