- Initiate ideas, develop proposals, identify and secure work opportunities and undertake research projects for national, state and local road agencies
- Develop solutions to identify cost savings for clients - in both the short and long term
- Deliver a wide range of research projects while applying advisory services when required in the pavements/ asset management technical areas
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of pavement technology and asset management services to clients in WA and throughout ANZ
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams—including Sustainability and Asset Management—to ensure a comprehensive, holistic approach to pavement design, construction, and management

- Excellent report writing, together with advanced verbal communication and polished presentation skills
- Project management skills appropriate for research, consulting and service-based projects
- Applicants must be residing Australian Citizens / Permanent Resident of Australia
- 15+ years of experience in pavement engineering research within the transport industry, including consultancy or local government and transport agencies
- Well-developed problem-solving capabilities to deal with complex issues.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (a higher research degree is desirable)
- A strong client focus with well-developed negotiation skills
