- Managing corporate entity filings
- Advising on process improvements in support of business objectives
- Responsible for undertaking and managing due diligence, conducting title and survey review, performing negotiations with buyers, sellers, governmental entities, development partners and other stakeholders
- Working with real estate, entitlement, development and construction teams on all land contracting, land use, entitlement, development and construction matters
- Interacting with landowners and landowners’ attorneys in a manner that projects a positive image of Company
- Identifying and evaluating legal issues and risk in order to communicate legal and business recommendations to team members on all matters relative to Tract’s real estate business
- Drafting, negotiating and preparing contracts in all phases of Company transactions including land acquisitions, sales, entitlement, development, construction, infrastructure, procurement, vendor and complex contracts
- Drafting and preparing corporate entity documentation
- Analyzing and advising on legal issues and risk associated with Company’s real estate transactions, from contracting on acquisitions and sales, through due diligence, closing, entitlements, development and construction
- Managing outside counsel for local and regulatory issues

- Experience with real estate finance and real investment trusts (REIT)
- Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams of internal and external resources to manage projects and teams to successful and predictable conclusions
- Demonstrated project management skills, preferably connected to real estate acquisitions, sales, land use, development and construction
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate governance
- Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating land use, entitlement, infrastructure and construction documentation
- Demonstrated success with all aspects of complex commercial real estate transactions
- Extensive experience drafting and preparing corporate entity documentation
- Comprehensive knowledge of real estate, development, land use, construction, infrastructure and complex transactions language
- Extensive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating real estate documents required for all steps of the real estate purchase, sale and development process
- Ability to problem solve, leveraging independent analysis, local relationships, corporate resources and executive support
- Detail-oriented to support data-driven analysis and decision-making
