Accounts Receivable Specialist

Overview

Manage AR subledger, process cash receipts, reconcile accounts, and ensure collections.

Tasks

-Monitor AR Aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue payments. -Maintain and update the Accounts Receivable subledger with accuracy. -Communicate effectively with customers to address invoice issues and ensure prompt payment. -Process daily cash receipts and ensure proper allocation. -Collaborate with Controllers to forecast cash receipts. Partner with operations to meet cash collection KPIs. -Foster productive relationships across business units and within the finance team. -Analyze and reconcile complex customer accounts to resolve discrepancies. -Contribute to ad-hoc projects and financial analyses as needed.

What You Bring

-Energy and strong work ethic. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel). Knowledge of Netsuite would be a definite asset. -Willingness and ability to solve problems. -Integrity and the willingness to own scope of work and associated issues. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience in a medium to large organization. Construction industry experience would be an asset.
