Support procurement in commercial management of Sub Consultants and Contractors (as applicable).
Input to internal and external weekly and monthly reports as required by the Project Manager.

Support client Section Heads and Engineers in administering a Roads O&M Performance-Based contract including setting the program of works, work inspection regime, managing technical and contractual discussions, review and approve monthly invoices.
Identification and production of claims and variation order requests for time and cost.

A Post- Graduate Degree in Construction Management/ Contract Law would be a distinct advantage
Ability to work with bespoke contract forms.
Time-management skills ability to work under pressure with dynamic deadlines.
Must have a minimum of 14 years demonstrable experience, with a Minimum of 5 years in Middle East in the same role.
Excellent oral and written English skills.
Experience with applying contract clauses to the technical scope of works
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
Ability to identify commercial and technical risks in contract documents.
Well-developed written communication skills in the preparation of presentations, technical reports, correspondence, and proposals are considered an asset.

Excellent understanding of FIDIC form of contracts.
Exposure to analytical data and proficiency in working with MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and overall understanding of database management are essential.

Ability to understand contractual clauses and relationship to the scope of works.
Knowledge of relevant contract management documents related to roads asset management (pavements and other civil infrastructure assets) is considered an asset.
Ability to present complex ideas in simple ways to the general public
Working knowledge of performance-based contracts is considered an asset.
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration from a Western Country.
Ability to interpret contract clauses and draft contractual letters and notices.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural work environment and build effective relationships with the Client.
Ability to understand complex contractual principals and resolve contractual issues.
Computer Literacy and competency must be fully proficient in Microsoft office applications and Lotus Notes.
Ability to analyze contractor claims and work with the senior management towards amicable resolution
Extensive experience in working as part of teams delivering services to government clients in the Middle east region
Compliance with contract notice requirements.
Capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
Must be Chartered from an accredited institution
Knowledge and understanding of document control packages and functions
Strong client management experience.
