The Fire Alarm Inspector will troubleshoot and inspect fire alarm systems, conduct regular inspections per NFPA 72 and local codes, and document findings using our ServiceTrade platform. The role includes ensuring panels, detectors, notification devices, and emergency power are operational, coordinating with contractors and customers, and recommending improvements.
- Troubleshoot basic and complex fire alarm systems with minimal supervision.
- Perform NFPA 72‑compliant inspections and document deficiencies in ServiceTrade.
- Verify functionality of alarm panels, detectors, notification devices, and emergency power supplies.
- Coordinate work with contractors, building maintenance, customers, and office staff.
- Identify code violations and recommend system upgrades or improvements.

Candidates must have a high‑school diploma and extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, fire alarm theory, OSHA requirements, and industry standards. Experience with major manufacturers such as Gamewell‑FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell and Firelite, plus a valid US driver’s license, is preferred.
- Hold a high school diploma (industry experience preferred).
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, OSHA, and fire alarm system theory.
- Possess hands‑on experience with manufacturers such as Gamewell‑FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, and Firelite.
- Maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.
