Tasks
-Provide financial guidance to cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives -Work with IT and systems teams to enhance ERP and financial planning systems -Manage monthly forecasting cycles, incorporating market conditions and business trends -Collaborate with business units to understand operational drivers and translate them into financial impacts -Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decisions and scenario planning -Prepare and present forward-looking financial reports for senior leadership -Lead the annual budgeting process, aligning with strategic goals and departmental inputs -Own this Finance function and set Duratec up for success -Conduct variance analysis to explain budget and forecast deviations, offering actionable insights -Act as a finance business partner across departments, delivering insights and support -Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities -Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities -Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, procedures, and controls -Lead financial due diligence and integration planning for mergers and acquisitions (M&A)

What You Bring
-Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders -Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, scenario planning, and variance analysis -Experience in a project-based contractor preferred -First Aid and Mental First Aid Support Officers -Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE, Oracle) and financial planning tools; experience improving financial systems is a plus -Experience supporting M&A activities, including due diligence and integration -5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field
