- Assist the Controller (as needed) in overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist (as needed) in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning/analytics.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
- Reconcile complex accounts and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

TE Certified is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting department. We are an established 20-year-old Home Services Company with exciting growth opportunities for the right candidate!
The ideal candidate will assist in the overall success of the accounting department, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the overall financial health of the company. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement and professional development. Experience with Accounts Payable, Cost of Goods Sold, Inventory Management, ServiceTitan, ServiceTitan Configurable Payroll, Excel, and Sage Intacct is preferred. Experience with CaptivateIQ or similar commission platforms is a plus. Experience working with a home service or improvement type company (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.) is also a plus! Must be able to commute to Kennesaw, GA daily.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Sage Intacct required; exposure to ServiceTitan Configurable Payroll and CaptivateIQ (or similar platforms) preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
