- Prepare financial projections through budgeting and forecasting, including data collection, analysis, and consolidation.
- Proactively review accounting processes and internal controls, recommending and implementing improvements.
- Coordinate with external audit and tax firms on audit and tax-related matters.

- Manage cash flow, including monitoring and projecting cash requirements.
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing accounting staff.
- Assist in tax planning efforts by reviewing applicable regulations, supporting tax strategies,
- Advise staff on the proper handling of non-routine or complex accounting transactions.

- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus, not required)
- Proficiency with accounting software, including Yardi and Excel
- Comfortable using accounting software and Excel
