  • Responsible for implementing and documenting configuration management definitions and requirements within specified deadlines.
  • Drive project design, integrate with other subsystems, and validate system performance according to functional requirements, while meeting Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments.
  • Coordinate with the signaling engineering team to prepare and execute work packages.
  • Responsible for the design and development of signaling systems.
  • Facilitate execution through coordination across multiple functions, including engineering, business controlling, supply management, manufacturing development, and other relevant interfaces.
  • Develop and verify railway signaling installations across all design phases, including the technical execution project and execution details.
  • Create and present designs for internal and external design reviews.
  • Responsible for project design, with a focus on product safety.
  • Utilize DOORS and ComplyPro tools for effective requirements management.
  • Assist in project execution, and in the verification and approval of technical documentation.
  • Use SAP for the creation and release of Bills of Materials (BOM), drawings, technical specifications, and for managing change control processes.
  • Ensure adherence to project deadlines, costs, and requirements, including when parts of the scope are delivered by external partners.
  • Establish and provide standardized reports on product/project execution to line and project management.

  • Strong technical expertise in railway signaling installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Railway Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ETCS, IRSE, EN50126/8/9, and AREMA.
  • Solid understanding of Telecom and Power systems, and integration of subsystems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in computer-aided design using Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Proven experience in communicating effectively with suppliers and customers, both internal and external.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical systems and fail-safe design principles.
  • Skilled in project management and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in using ProjectWise for document control and collaboration.
  • Capable of working effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in signaling design within international railway projects, preferably involving Siemens Signaling products.
  • Willing and able to travel to project sites, customer locations, and partner offices as required.
