- Manage reporting requirements for awarded grants
- Monitors the financial management of grants (e.g., budget preparation, budget adjustments, expenditures, etc.) for the purpose of complying with all program and funding guidelines of awarding organizations
- Prepare compelling letters of inquiry, proposals, budgets, and supporting documents
- Build and maintain positive relationships with funders
- Creating and maintaining an active spreadsheet of grant applications, deadlines, and requirements
- Assists in ensuring that all financial procedures are completed by leaders within the ministry to ensure all steps are being completed in grant applications and acceptances of funds
- Collaborate with leadership to align grant priorities with ministry needs
- Agree with and actively support the LMCM Statement of Faith
- Coordinates the pre-award planning, organization, and preparation, and the post-award administration of various grants assigned to one or more departments
- Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar, including submission deadlines and reporting requirements
- Keeps track of grant procedures, spending, requests, and departmental needs
- Assists the Director of Financial Services by tracking budgeted expenses and requests for grant funds
- Research and identify grant opportunities that align with LMCM’s mission and strategic goals
- Working with LMCM Directors and other members of leadership in applying for grants and receiving the necessary information from specific branches for area-specific grants
- Run financial expense reports for grant tracking as required by individual grant programs
- Communicate regularly with leadership about progress, outcomes, and funding trends
- Provides guidance and support to investigators in the identification and development of grant opportunities
- Attend and actively participate in an evangelical local church
- Track all grant-related activities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Coordinate with program and finance teams to ensure accuracy of data and outcomes

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- 1–2 years of experience in grant writing or nonprofit development
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, English, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant tracking tools
- Evidence of the fruit of the Spirit in dealing with people
- Have a Christ-centered home
