- Support the team in resolving geology/geotechnical-related questions and challenges.
- Prepare geotechnical design calculations and technical reports such as Geotechnical Data Reports and Geotechnical Baseline Reports.
- Conduct geotechnical field investigations for underground construction projects, including oversight of third-party drilling subcontractors and in-situ testing (SPT, CPT, slug tests, packer tests).
- Develop 2D and 3D numerical models for tunnels, shafts, caverns, and related facilities, assessing subsurface stratigraphy and geotechnical/hydrogeological parameters.
- Evaluate tunnel-induced ground surface settlement.
- Perform design services during construction, including review of shop drawings and submittals for excavation support systems.
- Prepare detailed field records, soil and rock boring logs, and field notes.
- Assist in proposal development and client report submissions.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Master’s level: Advanced Rock and Soil Mechanics, Field and Laboratory Testing, Geologic Engineering Site Investigation, Soil and Rock Behavior, Applied Numerical Modeling for Geomechanics, Advanced Geotechnical Engineering.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Bachelor’s level: Geologic Site Investigations, Structural Geology, Mineralogy and Petrography, Engineering Hydrology, Rock Mechanics, Soil Mechanics.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and modeling tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Civil Engineering.
- Master’s degree in Geological Engineering or Underground and Tunnel Construction.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, ideally a mix of field and office-based roles.
