Collaborate with Sales, Sales leadership, and Distribution to achieve stated business objectives.
Oversee designated customer projects; direct dealer team for implementation of customer order and service requests.
The Managing Director will have full discretion on what projects or accounts the Account Manager will be involved in.
Support the sales team in the development of the office typical and ancillary products offered as part of the Officeworks solution.
Collaborate with market A+D Representatives and local manufacturing representatives to stay current with market and product trends.
Develop plans and product specifications either on your own or through work with the design department.
Ensure documentation standards are maintained for all account activities; ensure dealership process and procedures are followed.
Identify account penetration opportunities for additional product or service sales to customer
Assist sales and design personnel to successfully position and sell the full range of products in the Officeworks portfolio.
Stay involved throughout sale implementation to ensure that any bottlenecks or changes in scope are identified and resolved, and that both customer and dealership are satisfied.
Recommend creative substitution options of products when not specified in conjunction with design/ancillary specialists or independently.
Support the sales staff to create marketing and presentation materials to represent the full range of products and services provided by the dealership.
Actively participate in weekly meetings with the manager director to discuss activities and workload management to discuss forecasts.
Work with sales in the development, preparation, and presentation of a complete furniture solution. Work with Sales Teams to creatively position RFP requests and alternate solutions.
Advise dealer designers regarding products on an as needed basis.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Proficiency with AutoCad, CAP, Revit, and SketchUp design tools. Understanding of CET
A strong sense of the customer and sales process and a proven ability to facilitate customer and field interaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Contract furniture sales experience (preferred).
Prompt, reliable and regular attendance
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
