What you would be doing

  • Leading, supervising and developing your team, ensuring health, safety and welfare at all times.
  • Managing remote delivery points and supporting with operational improvements.
  • Managing housekeeping standards and ensuring contractor safety on site.
  • Taking responsibility for monthly timesheets, toolbox talks, team meetings and QESH meetings.
  • Overseeing stock management, including allocation, transfers, cycle counts and stock takes.
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs, and implementing action plans where required.
  • Creating a culture of continuous improvement, coaching and motivating your team to achieve KPIs.
  • Reviewing workload and planning shifts to ensure resources and capability meet demand.
  • Maintaining product quality and service standards for both internal and external customers.

  • Background in warehouse or distribution environments with an understanding of logistics systems.
