The duties of the HVAC engineer is to carry out in depth and competent maintenance on commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems specifically air handling and heat recovery units, fan coil units, chilled beam systems, air conditioning systems as well as extract and supply fans.
Use their own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
Have the ability to meet with a variety of Clients to represent the Company and remain courteous and professional in your dealings at all times.
Be part of a mobile team responsible for maintenance of various sites
Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered
Accurate completion and timely submission company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) as required per contract.
Be able to undertake fault finding, repair and replacement of the above units as necessary.
Participate on the companies on call rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover
Source the correct parts from suppliers and assist with costings to be presented to the client
Maintain the above equipment in line with contract specifications and industry guidelines whilst complying to company health and safety policies

Hold a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to commercial planned, reactive and remedial maintenance.

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Heating and Ventilation/ Building Services Technician
Asbestos awareness training
Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card
Current Full UK Driver’s License
FGAS 2079 minimum level 2
