Quantity Surveying Internship - Manchester (July 2026 Start)

Description

• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers on multidisciplinary projects.
• Use property databases and technology tools to collect and analyse data.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Prepare cost plans, interim valuations, cost reports and reinstatement cost assessments.
• Conduct property inspections and attend client meetings.
• Travel to various property sites as needed.
• Participate in Early Careers support, buddy mentorship, and tailored training programmes.

Requirements

Applicants should be in the penultimate year of a RICS‑accredited Quantity Surveying degree, hold GCSE C/4 grades in English and Maths, possess strong communication skills and be able to travel within the UK.

• Communicate findings clearly in written reports and verbal presentations.
• Meet GCSE C/4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Be in the penultimate year of a RICS‑accredited Quantity Surveying BSc/MSc program.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess permanent right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
