Accounts Assistant

Description

• Coding of invoices to maintain the Nominal Ledger
• Confirming receipt of goods & services
• Proactive involvement in issues affecting the clearance of invoices
• Informing senior management of any items that appear to be amiss
• Checking of invoices to orders

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, be confident to pick up the phone a deal with colleagues from all aspects of the organisation, as well as others from outside the company such as suppliers and customers
• Strong administrative skills are key for this role
• Excellent organisation skills and be proficient at prioritising your work load in order to meet strict deadlines
• You will have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade A-C/4-9 (including Maths and English) or equivalent
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems is essential
• Be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work within a highly motivated team including willingness to help colleagues and demonstrate a ‘can do' attitude
• Previous accounting experience is advantageous but not necessary
