Description

The position includes supervisory responsibilities, managing project managers and cross‑functional teams.

The Executive Project Manager leads planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large‑scale projects, establishes governance frameworks, and provides executive‑level reporting. They oversee all project lifecycle phases, approve plans, schedules, cost controls, and resolve escalated issues. They develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and mitigate risks, while ensuring compliance, quality, and safety.

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large‑scale, high‑impact projects aligned with organizational goals.
• Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Provide executive‑level reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, approving plans, schedules, cost controls, and change management.
• Resolve escalated project issues, risks, and conflicts promptly.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and implement corrective financial actions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, operational, and compliance risks.
• Review and approve change orders, claims, and amendments with legal and finance teams.
• Lead, mentor, and manage performance of project managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure staffing, resource allocation, succession planning, and promote a culture of accountability and safety.
• Enforce compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain quality assurance and control standards across all projects.

Requirements

IFS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Project Manager to join our team. The Executive Project Manager is a vital member of the operations team, providing strategic leadership, oversight, and execution of complex, high‑value projects across the organization. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards, while serving as a key liaison between executive leadership, clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or CCM are strongly preferred. Ten to fifteen years of progressive project management experience, including oversight of multi‑million‑dollar portfolios and executive‑level reporting, are required. Experience with public‑ or private‑sector projects and occasional travel are also desired.
