Requirements

The Sr. Technical Professional works under general supervision and handles conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. The role requires devising new approaches to problems, planning, scheduling, and conducting work that demands independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Typical qualifications include an undergraduate engineering degree and a minimum of four years of related experience, with most candidates possessing six to ten years. Skills are acquired through hands‑on engineering practice and the ability to handle complex, multidisciplinary challenges.
