

Specializes in managing and improving conventional and affordable multifamily residential communities across multiple U.S. states.
The primary purpose of the role is to assist the Community Manager in operating the assigned property and to assume full managerial responsibilities when the manager is absent. The assistant is also responsible for maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including rent and deposit tracking.
Key duties include income collection—updating resident records, processing rents, deposits, and fees, issuing notices, and depositing funds daily; resident relations—maintaining a positive attitude, inspecting the property, handling litter, and overseeing move‑in/move‑out inspections; marketing—showing the property to prospects, managing lease renewals, answering calls, and contributing ideas for resident satisfaction; and administrative tasks such as preparing reports, filing leases, processing move‑ins and move‑outs, handling security deposits, and coordinating service requests.
The position requires a 40‑hour work week that may include holidays or weekends, with overtime subject to supervisor approval. Work is performed both indoors (66‑100 % of the time) and outdoors (33‑66 %), with occasional exposure to chemicals and other hazards.
Applicants must have at least one year of property‑management experience, basic computer proficiency, a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and the ability to operate a golf cart. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 25 lb, frequent bending, climbing stairs, and constant visual, auditory, and communication tasks.
