What you would be doing

Work closely with hardware design and manufacturing teams to ensure robust product development.
Execute hardware validation on small form factor PCBs, including board bring-up and troubleshooting.
Conduct functional and performance validation of power systems in smart wearable devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Generate reports and recommendations based on analysis findings.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure power systems meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
Operate and maintain lab equipment such as power supplies, mixed signal oscilloscopes, function generators, and NI DAQ systems for validation and debugging tasks.
Analyze electrical results and device logs to identify, debug, and resolve power regressions.
Review and validate circuit designs for power efficiency and reliability.
Perform detailed power consumption measurements and thermal analysis to optimize device performance and battery life.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of electronic circuits and proficiency with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, LTspice).
System-level testing: Familiarity with embedded devices, Android/iOS applications, and firmware testing.
Use of lab equipment: Proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and thermal chambers for power and battery validation.
Test automation: Experience building or using automation frameworks (e.g., Python) for scaling test and lab infrastructure
Utilize basic Python skills to automate test procedures and data analysis.
Experience in hardware validation: 2–6 years in wearables, embedded devices, or consumer electronics verification and validation.
Battery and power systems expertise: Hands-on experience with Li-ion batteries, battery management systems, charge/discharge cycle testing, and safety/performance validation.
Data analysis: Ability to process and analyze large sets of power measurement data to identify trends and issues.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
