Description

• Coordinate consultants and monitor budgets, schedules, and billings.
• Lead projects through SD, DD, CD, and CA phases.
• Oversee full contract document production, including redlines and specifications.
• Train, mentor, and support junior staff.
• Prepare Additional Service Requests (ASRs).
• Review DD/CD drawings to minimize RFIs and change orders.
• Serve as the main liaison with clients, owners, and contractors.

Requirements

A highly respected Los Angeles design studio is seeking a motivated Multi-Family Architect capable of leading a project team through Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and full Construction Administration for large-scale multi-family housing projects. The Architect will act as the primary point of contact for owners and contractors, ensuring the design intent is executed effectively throughout the construction process.

• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in Revit, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• California Licensed Architect preferred.
• 10+ years of architectural experience with extensive Construction Administration on multi-family housing.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with owners and contractors.
• Strong understanding of building systems and field coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Construction Management.

Benefits

Salary: $95,000–$150,000

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 3–4 days in office, Fridays from home)
