Utilizes geographic data from a variety of sources including census, field observation, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, ALTA surveys, engineering documents, etc.
Processes and analyzes photogrammetric and lidar data.
Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
Prepares and manages metadata.
Compiles spatial data from internal teams.
Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Collects lidar and photogrammetric data utilizing drones.
Supports survey staff by providing support files.
Collects additional field data, including surveyed ground points.
Supports projects by providing requested information.
Operates Company aligned vehicle for site and surveying visits. Drives between site locations during daytime and nighttime hours and in varying weather conditions in order to complete site surveys.
Performs surface comparison and quantity calculations, with guidance.
Performs quality assurance and control on data products.

1 or more years' experience in drone-based data collection preferred.
Experience with remotely-sensed data processing and analytics is preferred.
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License and/or Canadian equivalent required.
1 or more years of data processing or utilization of GIS/CAD software experience preferred.
Microsoft Office (Excel including data sorting and filtering, charts, formatting, pivot tables, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience using lidar scanners is preferred.
Knowledge of survey, including experience using Trimble GPS survey equipment, is preferred.
Ability to travel 51 to 75% domestically and internationally required.
Bachelor’s degree in UAV/drone science, remote sensing, geographic information systems, cartographic science, or geodetics preferred.
Ability to work professionally with clients, vendors, employees, managers and supervisors.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Highschool diploma/GED required.
GIS/CAD software (ArcGIS, Global Mapper, AutoCAD).
1 or more years of traditional field survey experience preferred.
Field experience, including drone-based data collection.
Data collection requires some physical work in adverse weather, including extensive walking over uneven terrain.
DJI flight planning software.
Ability to work & learn independently.
