Service Manager

Description

• Developing and maintaining key customer relationships
• Budgeting, cost control, procurement, inventory management and invoicing.
• Identifying business opportunities.
• Achieving and exceeding monthly targets for sales of Argus' products and services.
• Managing the Service division's P&L, forecasting, business planning, and regional growth.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in the fire protection, building, engineering or construction industries, in NZ.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to organise resources effectively and efficiently within a dynamic environment.
• Proven project management experience in a building-related industry.
• A natural ability to engage with people and to lead, motivate and develop a busy and energetic team.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a high level of computer literacy.
• Experience driving a strong Health and Safety and Staff Welfare culture.
• NZ residency essential.
• A detailed knowledge and understanding of the relevant NZ Standards, NZ Building Code and local building compliance regulations, and HSWA 2015.
• The confidence and ability to contribute to the management of the business.
• Client-facing leadership experience in a service business.
• Experience in business system and process development, implementation and maintenance.
