The Pump & Power Technician 2 performs basic diagnostics and repairs on pump and power equipment, focusing on safety and rapid return to service to avoid equipment downtime. The role requires working both indoors and outdoors while handling physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and lifting 25 lb or more.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment and hold an EPA Section 608 universal certification. Required knowledge includes refrigeration, electrical engines, controllers, dehumidification equipment, compressed‑air treatment, generators, power distribution, and the ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow diagrams.
The position is open to individuals with related experience such as construction equipment mechanic, field service technician, heavy‑equipment mechanic, or maintenance technician, and may align with various military MOS, AFSC, and NEC codes. Base pay ranges from $24.05 to $34.56 per hour, dependent on location, education, training, and experience.
