Sr. Discipline Engineer (Landscape)

Description

• Conduct site assessments to analyze existing conditions and inform design decisions
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and innovative landscape design techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create cohesive designs that integrate landscaping with architecture and civil works
• Lead landscape design efforts on projects from concept through to construction, ensuring design integrity and compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Provide technical guidance and direction to junior engineers and landscape architects
• Develop detailed landscape plans, specifications, and planting schedules in alignment with project goals
• Review and approve landscape-related submissions and documentation from design partners and contractors

Requirements

• Familiarity with local regulations and guidelines related to landscape design in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is a plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on time
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and landscape design applications
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in landscape design and engineering, preferably with a focus on large-scale projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of plant materials, irrigation systems, and environmental sustainability practices
