  • Act as the local product line expert for all lines
  • Develop, coach and mentor the team of Trade Specialists reporting directly to you to achieve KPI’s, deliverables and targets and on the process of End User development including but not limited to: Who to contact (trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, quality managers, general managers, line supervisors, chief mechanics, purchasing, etc. And how they execute the purchasing process (central and facility), and how to align their efforts with the local market teams, product managers, local distributors, and service centers
  • Act as a liaison between your team of Trade Specialists and other internal teams including but not limited to local IC Field Account Managers, NAMs, Channel Marketing and Trade Association Managers
  • Maintain daily communication lines with the Regional Market Manager on business and employee opportunities and risks
  • Support National and Regional strategic plans to achieve individual and team top line sales targets
  • Ensure team has appropriate product and sales skills training by working with the Regional Field Trainer and through directly facilitating training on proper techniques for product demonstrations, product applications and all steps in the sales process
  • Establish, develop and maintain key relationships with end user partners through product and services solutions
  • Complete effective “work withs” monthly at a minimum with the end goal of training, developing, and motivating the team to take market share

  • Experience with SalesForce, PowerBI, Showpad Coach or other CRM/sales optimization system preferred.
  • Able to relocate for future roles over time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record delivering results preferred; prior management/team leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields. Relevant construction field experience could be a substitute for higher education.
  • Valid Driver's License and physical ability to travel at least 50% of the month within territory assignment
  • Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills
