The Sr. Expeditor role invites you to pioneer the next generation of innovation within Rolls‑Royce, working in an international environment known for its brilliance. You will be responsible for monitoring and expediting material orders to ensure on‑time delivery, coordinating between suppliers, buyers, and production to prevent shortages or delays. - Track purchasing award summaries and related documents.
- Assist in developing Commodity Team strategies aligned with global purchasing and logistics objectives.
- Create sourcing lists, monitor supplier performance, and confirm shipments and delivery dates.
- Resolve pricing, invoicing, and contract issues with suppliers aggressively.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and annual contracts with suppliers.
- Analyze supplier cost and pricing data and benchmark against competition.
- Maintain open communication among internal departments, management, and suppliers.
- Support cost‑savings initiatives and standardized digital processes.
- Forecast annual material volumes, savings, tooling costs, and repair budgets.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and adhere to confidentiality ethics.
- Promote a compliance culture and uphold the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.

- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Materials Management, Business Finance, or related field; or 9 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement, materials management, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis.
- Handle confidential matters with discretion and exhibit excellent negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, planning, and follow‑up abilities.
- Possess deep knowledge of purchasing practices, financial/cost analysis, and problem‑solving for complex issues.
- Communicate effectively orally, in writing, and through presentations; understand internal customer needs.
- Interpret blueprints and engineering documents; self‑starter able to work independently.
- Knowledge of production planning, supply chain, and materials management processes.
- Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience preferred.
- Specific knowledge of Off‑Highway Diesel Engine commodities, materials, and products.
- Engineering or technical degree and German language skills are advantageous.

The role is based in Mankato, MN, with a salary range of $78,778 to $128,015 annually, and includes a discretionary bonus plan.
