Reporting to the Compensation Manager, UK & Europe, this role supports the delivery of a seamless compensation service across the region. It partners with the Compensation Manager and Total Reward Director to implement regional compensation programmes and manages the annual salary and discretionary bonus review, including query handling, data management, and HR collaboration.
Key responsibilities include UK and Ireland pay‑gap reporting, analysing data from multiple sources and providing insights for internal action planning. The role assists with Total Reward projects such as EU Pay Transparency through legislation monitoring, data analysis, and employee communications. Additional duties involve annual market benchmarking of graduate pay, supporting mid‑year salary adjustments for early‑career staff, validating Real Living Wage compliance, and performing ad‑hoc pay benchmarking and analysis using advanced Excel skills.
The position serves as the first point of contact for compensation queries, delivering data‑driven insights to internal stakeholders while collaborating closely with the Global Compensation Team to streamline reward operations. Continuous improvement of systems and processes is expected, and any data integrity or downstream issues must be escalated for resolution.
The ideal candidate possesses advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and a detail‑oriented approach. They must handle confidential information with discretion, communicate effectively, and demonstrate proactive, results‑driven ownership. Excellent prioritisation, multitasking, and a collaborative, solution‑focused mindset are essential, alongside a solid understanding of Total Reward, compensation practices, and pay‑gap reporting methodology.
The position may require security clearance, with the vetting process managed by UK Security Vetting.
