The Lead Strategic Communications Specialist serves as the “Voice of OCI,” managing communications that convey technical and clinical transformations to a workforce that may feel disenfranchised or overwhelmed. The role ensures the value of the Federal EHR is clearly understood across the organization.
The position includes developing and maintaining an executive‑level communications strategy, overseeing digital, print, and multimedia products, and leading stakeholder engagement through town halls, podcasts, and office‑hour sessions. It also involves translating complex technical topics into accessible language and maintaining a centralized knowledge repository for communication and clinical requirement definition.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and ten years of total experience, with at least eight years in senior communications management. The specialist must demonstrate mastery of AP style, narrative storytelling, and deep expertise in MS Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, SharePoint, as well as change‑leadership and organizational communication.
The role is remote‑first, with salary based on experience and a comprehensive fringe‑benefits package. Employees are eligible for participation in RESPEC’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan after a qualifying period.
