The role involves managing equipment orders, rentals, and returns, generating purchase orders, and handling daily billing reconciliation for contracts, invoices, and work orders. It also includes supporting both electronic and physical inventory management on project sites and within equipment facilities.
The specialist will maintain accurate task codes and off‑rent dates, produce scheduled and on‑demand inventory reports, and ensure quality control of those reports. They will reconcile fleet invoicing with accounting, vendors, and project teams while providing equipment solutions and issue resolution for project teams.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED (a Bachelor’s degree is preferred) and at least one year of experience in rental equipment, construction, or a related field. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a professional, customer‑focused attitude are required.

The base pay range for this position is $58,100 – $78,400, with higher ranges for certain locations. Base salary is determined by knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity, and the role is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
